Communities Rising is about helping individuals discover “what is yours to do” as, collectively, we build a movement that works toward a more just world. LELO's mission is to empower people of color, immigrants, women and working people through its programs that include access to living wage jobs, access to healthy, organic foods and to build a system of food sovereignty and to build solidarity between workers in the US and workers beyond the borders of the US in our struggles for economic security, peace and justice.
