Free Washington Project

We’re mobilizing statewide to prepare our communities for coordinated, powerful, nonviolent resistance.

Building the Resistance, Together

The Free Washington Project is a grassroots network and hub for individuals and organizations taking action against the authoritarian and anti-democratic actions of the MAGA regime.

We stand united against the deployment of the National Guard, militarized ICE operations, and the dangerous agenda of Project 2025—we deserve freedom from violence and fear where we live.

We connect across diverse organizations to uplift each other’s efforts and stand in solidarity with immigrants and targeted communities.

We aim to be your go-to resource for trainings, actions, and tools that facilitate and inspire beautiful, creative, nonviolent resistance in Washington State.

Want to do something but not sure where to start?

Join us for a casual meetup the third Sunday of the month. These gatherings, in a different neighborhood each month, help connect concerned folks with local groups building community power and fighting authoritarianism in our neighborhoods and across the city, state, and country.
