Coalition of Immigrants and Refugees & Communities of Color
CIRCC is founded on the core principle that only individual liberty can create a liberal society in which the freedom and rights of individuals are given priority and not violated. A liberal society undoubtedly possesses its own distinct political and democratic culture.
Seattle/Cuba Friendship Committee
We educate Western Washington citizens of the truth about Cuba and work for normalized relations between our two nations. We organize public rallies and film showings, promote Congressional advocacy, send material aid, and encourage people to visit Cuba to “see the reality for themselves.”
Seattle Against War
We’re a member of the national Anti-War Action Network that has successfully exerted pressure on strategic levers for real material change, ranging from weapons manufacturers and war profiteering companies, to divestment campaigns. SAW’s current campaign is to expose the under-pressed Rep. Adam Smith. We’re also one of the Seattle organizations building a powerful anti-imperial, anti-war movement to stop the war on Iran.
Khmer Anti-deportation Advocacy Group
KhAAG is dedicated to advancing the rights and welfare of all refugee and immigrant communities affected by ICE enforcement, raids, detention and deportations. We specialize in direct service, KYR's training, and legal support resources for the Cambodian and Southeast Asian community.
A Legacy of Equality Leadership and Organizing
LELO's mission is to empower people of color, immigrants, women and working people through its programs that include access to living wage jobs, access to healthy, organic foods and to build a system of food sovereignty and to build solidarity between workers in the US and workers beyond the borders of the US in our struggles for economic security, peace and justice. LELO is a founding members of Standing for Democracy and Free Washington Project.
Standing for Democracy (WA)
We’re building a broad movement to confront fascism both here at home and abroad. Our committees—People’s Assemblies for Democracy and Affirmative Resistance—meet regularly, and we also host a general educational meeting.
Troublemakers
Our mission is to defeat fascism and disrupt the extractive and racist systems that are devastating countless lives worldwide. Connecting, supporting each other, and finding joy in community, solidarity, and resistance, we can help bring about an urgent end to tyranny, oppression and environmental devastation so that communities, both human and ecological, can begin to heal and find a new way forward.
United Veteran-Civilian Response
UVCR unites veterans and civilians to oppose the militarization of our cities by training and mobilizing in tactical communication that de-escalates conflict, supports service members in refusing unlawful orders, and builds trust between troops and our communities.
Veterans for Peace, 92
We are an organization of veterans who went to war, came home and now work for peace. We work to make the public aware of the cost of war and that war is never the answer.
