LELO's mission is to empower people of color, immigrants, women and working people through its programs that include access to living wage jobs, access to healthy, organic foods and to build a system of food sovereignty and to build solidarity between workers in the US and workers beyond the borders of the US in our struggles for economic security, peace and justice. LELO is a founding members of Standing for Democracy and Free Washington Project.

We’re building a broad movement to confront fascism both here at home and abroad. Our committees—People’s Assemblies for Democracy and Affirmative Resistance—meet regularly, and we also host a general educational meeting.

Our mission is to defeat fascism and disrupt the extractive and racist systems that are devastating countless lives worldwide. Connecting, supporting each other, and finding joy in community, solidarity, and resistance, we can help bring about an urgent end to tyranny, oppression and environmental devastation so that communities, both human and ecological, can begin to heal and find a new way forward.

UVCR unites veterans and civilians to oppose the militarization of our cities by training and mobilizing in tactical communication that de-escalates conflict, supports service members in refusing unlawful orders, and builds trust between troops and our communities.

We are an organization of veterans who went to war, came home and now work for peace. We work to make the public aware of the cost of war and that war is never the answer.
